As you know, I’m very fond of creating beautiful things with simple tools like spindles and knitting needles. So is my brother, and his hobby is woodworking. He made me an amazing bowl in spalted beech, as an early birthday present, that I’m very happy with!
It´s already in use as my bowl-for-small-things-that-I-may-lose-otherwise:
And yes, the bowl in the background is the one that he made for David! He also made the mini bowls inside, last year, to keep our wedding rings in when we are not wearing them. He has amazing skills!
