Lately, I’ve been knitting the two links of the BFF Cowl, a cowl that consists of two links, one knitted by you, and one knitted by your friend. In the NKS, this pattern was an immediate success, and a KAL was born very quickly, in which a whole chain of knitting friends would knit one link for another knitting friend. There were three chains, based on the yarn used to knit the cowl. I decided to join the Malabrigo team, consisting of Jojanneke, Trude and myself, knitting in Malabrigo Rios or Worsted. I knitted one link for Jojanneke, she knitted one for Trude, and Trude knitted one for me.
At our last big NKS meet, we exchanged the links, and now I’ve finally finished the cowl. It’s pretty and warm!
