Today I painted a sunset, and tried to create real dark colours without using black. It kind of worked, but the result is a little muddy. Once again I was not patient enough to wait until the paper was dry, so some paint leaked back and forth into areas where it didn’t belong. The flaming parts of the sky became contaminated a bit. But I managed to keep the sun relatively bright, at least.
