I have a very nice collection of spindles, and needed something to put them into safely. Something like a case or a box. So I searched on Etsy for a good solution and stumbled across a very nice box, that was embellished with the decoupage technique. It featured a painting by Rosina Wachtmeister with pretty cats, and has very happy colours. It was made in Europe, so the mailing cost was reasonable. I decided to buy it.
It arrived quickly and is quite beautiful. It has just the right size to put all my turkish spindles in there. The supported spindles will need their own storage solution, because their shafts are much longer. Maybe a pimped suitcase, or a flat box of some kind…
The spindles are now in plastic bags, but I’m planning something better. I’ve ordered some simple drawsting bags in natural colours, and am planning on embellishing them myself…
