By now, I do have a lot of spindles. And I’m not keeping all of them. Some are very nice and beautiful, but just not for me. They may find a better home elsewhere.
For example, the topwhorl spindles will move on to new houses. The Russian will stay.
The turks are quite special to me, especially the ones that my brother made for me. I’m destashing the Subterranean Woodworks (have enough heavier spindles) and the Enid Ashcroft Mini in yew/pink ivory (I don’t need 3 Minis). The Midge is not in the photo, because it’s still away.
I really love my spindle collection. All the different woods, looks and feels amaze me. I feel happy just looking at them, and then they spin so very nicely!
